It happens that some people are not yet aware of this. That is to say: They design without intention.

They design without intention In the same way, even if there is not a single UX designer in an organization, the UX is still being designed.

The first step on the path to adopting UX is to overcome this initial barrier and become aware of the reality that every decision influences the user experience.

This first step of “self-awareness” is the most important because it allows for progress in adopting the processes, techniques, and tools necessary to mature the practice. Nothing is possible without this first step.

So, regardless of your role, the next time someone asks if you are a UX designer, respond: “Yes”.
